So a while back I read a blog by an affie of mine about whether or not guys and girls can be simply just friends. I personally believe so. I may know more girls than I do guys, but I’m closer to more guys than I am with girls. Sometimes us girls get annoying! The drama, ugh I can’t take it. Sometimes, I just want to hang with my guy friends, most of the time they can be more fun to be around! 
The truth is, it’s all about your mindset. Just don’t think of them that way, and you won’t have any problems. And because I have this opinion it doesn’t mean that I’m lesbian or something. Yes, I have had someone say that to me, and it was very frustrating. I don’t get how you can judge someone’s orientation based on one opinion that person has.
On a more personal note:
Well, Warped Tour was EPIC! I had a blast, got to see a couple awesome bands live. I like The Devil Wears Prada a little better, but August Burns Red definitely had the best performance. They sounded great! I bought some merch while I was there, including a FF5 poster I had them sign when they were at their booth. So now I have that hanging in my room which is cool.
Things with my site are frustrating right now. Something is wrong so now it won’t update, and my host said I should find another. I have, but I’m not getting a response and it’s been almost a week now, so it is getting a bit frustrating. I need to get hosted quick because I need to update my site. I have content to upload, plus I’m thinking of just totally changing my site and what it does. I’m thinking of turning it more into a portfolio with resources. I would still keep layouts, textures, brushes, renders, stock photography, etc. available, but I would really go through my content and keep only what is of the highest quality. Some of the things I used to make were really horrible, and I shouldn’t kid myself. If something I make is crap, I shouldn’t put it up. So I’m going to stop making myself feel the need to update all the time. I’ll just update when I feel inspiration. Now because I haven’t had much lately, there won’t be tons of updates. They will just be when something is going on. If any affiliates decide to remove me, then that is fine. I can’t deal with pressure from people over something such as not updating my site. I deal with enough shit (sorry) in real life, that I just won’t deal with it online over stupid stuff.

I’m exhausted, I ended up staying up really late watching mindless movies that were only okay. Now I’m watching Analyze This now, it has Robert De Niro and some other dude (I forget his name :/), but it’s pretty funny. I might end up watching the sequel, Analyze That. Hopefully it will be good.
Does anyone know of any good movies on Netflix? I’m running out of movies here!!! I wish they would just make everything instant watch because of this stupid pricing change….GAH!
Well stupid me didn’t even talk about the new layout in the last blog. I know that the image from the layout is a guy, but he’s awesome! He’s a cartoon with a paintbrush and graphic design pen & tablet. I don’t know why I’m spazzing, but I’m sad because the other image from the Smith Micro products is of the girl…I couldn’t find it. I thought I saved it to my computer a long time ago, but apparently not because I can’t find it i my files.
It’s a simple layout, but it was a chance for me to practice with CSS3. Between the gradients and the effects to the navigation…the only images are the ones created for the navigation and the header and background…yeah that’s a lot, but I didn’t do much, I mainly just found the image of the character, pasted some text, and made a very simple texture background. This is the first I’ve made though, so I’m kind of proud of myself.
There was something else I wanted to write about, but I’m not sure. I’ll come back a little later and write that blog I promised when I was checking on Toxic Flame last.
I’m not going to write about the blog challenge for today, because I’m not sure what to write for it yet.

Sound: Pour Some Sugar On Me by Def Leppard

Ugh, I’m stupid, I left a glass in my bedroom last night, and it had Gatorade. I drank it all, but apparently what was left in the bottom was enough sugar to brink ants in my room…they are now ALL OVER my room. I think some are even crawling on me…they’ve been all over my computer, keyboard, and mouse. I’m so stupid!!! 
Well, I finally have a new desk for my dad’s house, but it’s not the one I showed you. It’s a wood that matches what I have from Ikea, and it’s more ideal because it has a hutch so there is more space…which I needed. Plus there is space for when I get a monitor…I really want to get one for when I work on projects in Photoshop and such.
Well, I think I’m doing better emotionally, but I’m not really sure.I’m nervous my friend Nicole will see those things I had wrote on here…see she found out about my site, and said she’ll sometimes check up on it. Well the site links to here, so it’s just a matter of time before she starts reading this. She’s been mentioning she might start a blog soon….maybe she’ll let me make a layout for her!
Well, I’m tired and just feel like watching something, so I’m gonna go search Netflix instant watch for something. I’m so pissed at them for the price increase!!! And the separation of instant plays with DVD, it’d only be fair if they would make everything instant watch otherwise those people won’t have as large a selection, but still paying the same price!!!! I hate corporate businesses.

Day 13: When you are stressed, what can you use as an outlet? Why do you think it helps you?
Listening to music really helps me. Also, drumming. It’s ideal for me. I once wrote for a report: “It’s a chance for me to bang around and get out all the stress and anger without being judged by society as a violent person.”
My English teacher really liked that, she said it makes a lot of sense. It was the first time a teacher made me feel proud about what I wrote. I was kind of proud of myself when she said that. I thank her for that, she was a good teacher and that comment will stick with me for a long time….wow I got off topic.

I hate that I haven’t had internet since my last blog. Not only have I been unable to blog, but there have been some things I’ve needed to do for my mother but can’t without internet, so she’s spazzing on me! I’ll have internet tomorrow I think. I fly home tomorrow, and will have an hour and half layover. I’ll try to blog, but I might just want to read or something. There are a couple of books my parents really want me to read, despite me not wanting too. I read a little on this trip, but it was my book, Assassins. It’s actually a good book and probably isn’t what you are thinking. Have you heard of the Left Behind series? Well check it out. The books are really good and well written. I wasn’t able to read much though because I was feeling a little sick when I read.
Monday around 6:00 pm we arrived at Cape Cod, where we have been heading the whole time. Today I’m packing and getting ready for my flight tomorrow while my dad cleans the boat and deals with some people that need to fix a few things on the boat. Last night we were somewhere in Conneticut, and the night before we were in a marina in New Jersey that had a view of New York! I was able to get some awesome pictures, and at night I took some cool shots of the buildings that gave me neat light textures that can be found in a new texture pack on Toxic Flame. We passed by The Statue of Liberty and I was able to get some pictures of it. I’ve been to New York once, but I didn’t see the statue and nothing compares to seeing the city from the water. I never expected to be staying on a boat that is docked at a marina with a view of NYC…oh, and there was a party boat playing heavy metal music…drunks are funny.
Okay, now prepare for a lot of links to images, because I want to show you some pictures, but they will take up too much space if I add them to the bottom of the blog. Tomorrow or something I will show you pics from other places I visited earlier on the trip that I already told you about. So I’ll start with Annapolis. The architecture there is very different from where I live, so I loved it. This, this, and this, are shots of downtown Annapolis. There is a church there with a huge steeple too. There was a lot of property there for the church too. When me and my dad were walking around, we saw this really cool version of a kayak I think. It has a sail too! I also saw some kids learning to sail (they looked about 4 years old)…how cute! Plus I saw a really cute sailboat I liked…I loved what was on the back. That night we ate dinner at Boatyard Bar & Grill. It was good me and my dad split our two meals so we each had a crabcake and soft shell crab. It was really good….AGH now I’m craving it. 
I tried getting shots of the naval academy, but I couldn’t use my filter because it needed to be cleaned, so the pictures didn’t come out.
We didn’t go anywhere when we where in the marina in New Jersey, but it was okay because I was able to get some night shots of New York. This was our view from the boat! As we were getting to the marina I got some shots of Manhattan (1, 2) and of The Statue of Liberty. We saw this really cool boat too. I liked it and felt the need for a picture. When we left in the late morning we passed by the statue once again, but this time we saw a Staue Cruises boat go by. It was packed full. We made our way down the river and I was able to get some really nice shots.
Well, that’s all for today. It was a long blog. I’ll try to update about other places I saw either tomorrow or the next day.
